Our commitment to a safe, healthy, and supportive working environment for everyone at EPIC.

Purpose

EPIC is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and supportive working environment for all employees, contractors, clients, and visitors. This Work Health & Safety (WHS) Policy sets out our approach to managing workplace risks and promoting well-being in accordance with Egyptian labor laws and international best practices.

Scope

All EPIC offices and work sites across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE
All employees, contractors, freelancers, interns, and visitors
All work-related activities — on-site, off-site, and remote
Events, shoots, installations, and field operations managed by EPIC

Policy Commitments

Provide a safe and healthy workplace free from recognized hazards
Comply with all relevant local and international health and safety legislation
Identify, assess, and manage workplace risks proactively
Provide appropriate training and resources to all employees
Encourage a culture of shared responsibility for safety
Continuously improve our WHS management system

Responsibilities

Management

Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and this policy
Allocate resources for health and safety measures
Appoint a WHS Officer to oversee implementation
Review and update risk assessments regularly

Employees

Follow all health and safety procedures and instructions
Report hazards, incidents, or near-misses promptly
Use safety equipment and personal protective gear when required
Participate in WHS training and awareness programs

Contractors & Visitors

Comply with EPIC's safety rules while on our premises or at managed events
Report any unsafe conditions to the site supervisor immediately

Key Focus Areas

Office Safety

Ergonomic workstations, fire safety, electrical safety, first-aid provisions, and emergency evacuation procedures.

Event & On-Site Operations

Risk assessments for events, exhibitions, shoots, and installations. Use of certified equipment, trained personnel, and incident response plans.

Mental Health & Well-being

Support programs for stress management, workload balance, and access to counseling services. Promotion of a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.

Remote Work

Guidance on home-office ergonomics, digital fatigue prevention, and maintaining clear work-life boundaries.

Incident Reporting & Response

All workplace incidents, injuries, or near-misses must be reported to the WHS Officer or line manager immediately. EPIC will investigate all incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. A record of incidents and corrective measures will be maintained and reviewed quarterly.

Emergency Procedures

All EPIC offices have documented emergency evacuation plans
Fire drills are conducted at least twice per year
First-aid kits are available in all offices and event sites
Emergency contact numbers are visibly displayed

Training & Awareness

WHS induction for all new employees and contractors
Annual refresher training on fire safety, first aid, and emergency procedures
Specialized training for event teams and on-site crews
Regular communication of WHS updates through company channels

Monitoring & Review

This policy is reviewed annually or following a significant incident. EPIC's management team monitors compliance through regular audits and inspections.
